The Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's is raising money in hopes of producing Alzheimer's first survivor. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 14 million by 2050. Of course our family has been up close and personal with memory loss for some time, having lost both of my parents to dementia after their lengthy battles. The Alzheimer's Association does important work, supporting caregivers and encouraging research. If you feel inclined to contribute to a worthy cause, please consider this one.
