After seven years of struggling with Alzheimers, my beautiful Mother lost her life to this horrific disease on April 20th, 2017. I am comforted to know that her mind is now clear and she is with Jesus! I miss her terribly, but know she is not confused anymore, and is celebrating her home in Heaven.

My family and I will be participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's(R) on September 25th. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
