This year's Walk to End Alzheimer's event for Orleans County will be held on September 9th. Once again, I am on the planning committee for this event and do so in memory of Rick's dad (Junior) who was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and passed away in May 2018.
Alzheimer's and other dementia conditions impact not only the individual diagonsed with this disease but the entire family as they try to navigate this new world together.
