I am honoring my father Bruce Gottlieb. My family and I lost him January 2nd 2021. He was only 65. He battled early onset Alzheimer's for 12 years. My father was and is my hero.  Above all his accomplishments he loved and supported his wife Steffi and my sister and I. He taught me what true unconditional love is.

Everything my dad did was to the fullest with gusto and passion. He was dedicated to ensuring special needs students received the best education and care.  He loved riding his bicycle, going to the gym, eating tofu and hummus, dancing, and laughing. He always made me laugh. He taught me that fun is very important in life and it doesnt matter what others think, enjoy the moment.

I walk for my father.  He made the best challah French toast and rock hard matzo balls.   My dad was silly and goofy.  Always knew when I needed a hug.  My dad was a comfort and security that i miss  every minute of everyday.

The Alzheimer's association gave my family much needed support, guidance and understanding through our difficult journey.

I walk to honor my dad.  I walk so daughters don't lose their fathers too young.  I walk so families can hold onto their loved ones longer.  I walk for a cure.  Please walk with me.

I love you Daddy!
