This year, I'm joining the fight to end Alzheimer's to honor Eugenia Zukerman, world-renowned flutist and the arts correspondent for one of my favorite shows CBS Sunday Morning. Eugenia was diagnosed with Alzheimer's 3 years ago and I'm constantly inspired by her bravery, sense of humor and dignity. This year, at our Gala, I sat with Eugenia and escorted her to and from the stage. She is still the definition of grace. She often says that life doesn't stop the day you are diagnosed and that the key is to continue living life to the fullest, as best you can and for as long as you can. I think we can all stand behind those words. Help me raise funds not only for research to help us end this disease but to continue providing local programs and services free to families right here in NY state.
Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer's!
