We decided to support this great organization because of my personal experience in dealing with a loved one who suffered from this hideous disease. In 2014 my Mom was diagnosed with dementia and subsequently had to move back to NY from Florida to be closer to family. Over the next several years being her primary caregiver, my wife and I had front row seats to the devastation this disease takes on our loved ones, their families and their caregivers. Mom passed away in 2021 so I can no longer help her, but we are determined to make a difference for others who are suffering.
