Everyone has had their lives affected by Alzheimer’s Disease or Dementia.  Whether a loved one was or is inflicted with the disease or you are or were a caregiver for someone with it - you know the significant and devastating effects of the disease. My father was diagnosed in 2019 and is currently battling with dementia. My family and I are walking for him and all other families facing Alzheimer’s and all other dementia.  They need us now more than ever — and with your help, we can be there for them.

This year I am honored to Co-Chair the Nassau County walk with Armando DAccordo.  By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s, we are raising funds and awareness to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association to provide 24/7 care and support at 1-800-272-3900 and accelerate critical research….and the research we have funded has made incredible progress!!!  Aducanumab (Aduhelm™) received accelerated approval as a treatment for Alzheimer’s disease by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA).  This is the first FDA-approved therapy to address the underlying biology of Alzheimer’s disease. LET’S KEEP THE MOMENTUM GOING!!!!!
