My family and I have been a part of the Alzheimer’s Association for several years now. My grandmother recently lost her battle with Alz. Her sister and twin brother are now battling this disease as well. Alzheimer’s takes a toll, not only on those who are diagnosed, but also on the family, friends, and loved ones who surround them. My family and I will continue to walk every year to support the efforts in finding a cure.
