Barbara was a beautician for most of her life and even had a bowling team with the same name. It is a privilege to be able to honor her by naming our team "Barbara's Beauties."

Since starting this team in 2018 in onor of our grandma Barbara, we have unfortunately been afflicted again, and again. We now walk in memory of Barbara and in honor of Mita and Laurie and our team navigates being caregivers for our loved ones who have dementia and early onset Alzheimer’s. 

On Saturday, October 21st, we will be participating in the Orange/ Sullivan Walk to End Alzheimer's, to help raise funds for this disease. Any donation made is a significant impact to bringing us one step closer to a world without Alzheimer's, and we thank you in advance for your support as we fight on behalf of Barbara, Mita and Laurie. 

Today, an estimated 50 million people worldwide are living with Alzheimer's or other dementias, including more than 5 million Americans. In the United States alone, 16 million friends and family members are providing their care. We must take action now, or these numbers will continue to rise.

As our team helps to raise funds for this disease locally your donations are hard at work locally and nationally as they go toward free education programs and services and research to help end this disease.
