This year I will once again walk in honor of my sweet mom, Eileen, with the hope that one day soon this disease doesn't rob as many families of their loved ones. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 14 million by 2050. We must try to help find a way to change the course of this disease.
