Alzheimer’s isn’t stopping and neither are we. By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s, I’m raising funds and awareness to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research.

Alzheimer’s awareness and research are very near and dear to my heart. My grandfather was diagnosed with Mild Cognitive Impairment in 2014, in 2016 he was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease. In early 2021 I was offered the opportunity to join a research facility that conducts clinical trials on Alzheimer’s disease, I graciously accepted the position. I am now apart of an amazing team conducting clinical trials on those with healthy memory, mild cognitive impairment and Alzheimer’s. Research is only possible because of our volunteers. I will be walking on Sunday September 25, 2022 to help raise awareness for this disease itself and bring awareness to clinical trials, without these trials finding a cure is just not possible.
