Last year, I honored both my Mom and Grandma, who suffered from the disease.
This year I would like to add David Lubin, our client and friend, into the honorary list.
We would llike to salute David and keep his spirit in our hearts.
David was a funny, intelligent and wonderful artist - who we cared for for almost two years.
We watched the following happen and adapted to these changes quickly. Changes in personality, memory loss, shrinking vocabulary, getting lost, losing belongings and not being able to dress oneself, deteriorating cleanliness…. I can honestly say, towards the end, David had no money to speak of, he did not know who he was or where he was.
It was heart-breaking.
Let’s try and beat last years’ donations……in honor of this wonderful soul.
