In New Jersey alone there are over 190,000 people living with Alzheimer's disease. I stand with the over 490,000 unpaid caregivers who are facing this battle alone. One of my worst fears in life is forgetting the memories I cherish and the ones that I love. Without additional treatments the number of New Jerseyans living with will surpass 400,000 by 2050. This will most likely include myself, my friends, and my family. This is why I joined the Alzheimer's Association to support their work in the following ways:
- Fund Research through the Walk to End Alzheimer's
- Provide Care & Support to families in need
- Increase Concern & Awareness through participating in the walk
