I am walking in honor of my favorite person, my grandfather Jorge L. Garcia. He was an amazing man and it was devastating to watch him suffer with Alzheimer’s. From day one he was my biggest supporter and I will always cherish our time together. The story of his life is inspirational and courageous and he truly made me want to be a better person. My wish is that one day Alzheimer’s will be a thing of the past and we will no longer have to watch our loved ones be affected by this detrimental disease. Together we can all make an impact and aid the research of this.
