Dad and Aunt Jean, lost their battle with Alzheimer's Disease! I Walk because my family knows first hand how devastating Alzheimer's Disease is. The roller coaster ride you're on is indescribable! Day by day, you watch your love one, slowly disappear. As a caregiver, your grief comes and goes. Some days there is sunshine as your love one recalls a favorite time you two shared. You revel in the moment, wishing it would come more often. Then clouds appear, only to bring you tears of sadness as your love one doesn't recognize you.
