Cork moved in with us Dec 2013 after we realized living alone was no longer an option for him. He enriched the lives of myself and our children with his kindness and patience. He was a good hearted man that made a life taking care of others. I am grateful we were able to return the loving nature he raised my husband and his siblings with once he needed additional care. I'm leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Any way we can find to change the course of this disease is greatly needed.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer's! And for remembering Corky!
