My father was diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease nine years ago and sadly, we lost him to this terrible disease on September 12, 2017. Watching my father - my greatest role model - slowly disappear as this disease took him away from all of us was truly the hardest thing that I have had to do in my life.
I'm leading the way to end Alzheimer's by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. Our team, Code 30, will participate in the Asheville walk on October 14, 2023 to bring awareness to this disease and hopefully raise some funds to find a cure! Please, if you can, we would greatly appreciate your support. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer's!
