The Walk is a special opportunity each year to remember and support our loved one's who suffer from Alzheimer's. My story hits me just as hard every year. Alzheimer's robbed me of 15 good years with my mom. She was diagnosed in 2004 (the picture above taken in 2007 - one of the few final good photos I had with her until the disease began to take its toll). She battled and became an inspiration for me, until she passed away in March of 2021. She sadly never had the opportunity to get to know my children. It's all she lived for, and it was taken away. Family first and love always. That was my mom. Help me honor her memory. It's all I have left of her, and all I can do to help fight this for my family and the millions of people impacted by Alzheimer's each year. Let's do this! - #EndALZ.
