When we participated in our first Walk, Lainey, my oldest daughter, was 4 years old (she is now 13!). We explained that we were going to walk to find a cure for Alzheimer's. When we completed the walk, she asked "Did someone find it?" When I told her that's not exactly how the Walk worked, she was disappointed and asked, "So what do we do now?" I told her, "We will keep walking!"
