I Walk in memory of my Grandfather, who lost his battle with Alzheimer's, also, I walk in memory of one of my best friends, who lost her struggle with Dementia last year.
Caring for someone close to you as their health declines, is difficult in itself. When the day approaches that your loved one looks into your eyes, and does not recognize you, that is a day your heart begins to break. Joy becomes sadness and smiles become tears. The heartache of watching your loved one, loose the fond memories of their past, and seeing them struggle day to day is a problem NO ONE deserves.
FINDING a CURE is the reason we walk, so others don't have to experience this disease.
Please, help me by making a donation to My WALK to END ALZHEIMER'S. Together we can make a difference!
