Alzheimer’s isn’t stopping and neither are we. By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s®, I’m raising funds and awareness to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association® to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research.
My dad, Fred B. Stevens, Sr., suffered from Alzheimer's during the last nine years of his life. Our family experienced this horrible disease personally, and we lost him long before his final day in August of 2016. His older brother also suffered from dementia, and now his two younger sisters are dealing with Alzheimer's too. We need to stop this disease!
