When I joined Sigma Kappa it wasn't just for the sisterhood but also for the wonderful philanthropies we support, like the Alzheimer's Association. The Alzheimer's Association is an organization I hold near and dear to my heart as Dementia has affected both sides of my family in unimaginable ways. Seeing the people you love be taken over by this vicious disease is something I do not wish upon anyone. That is why I am raising money to help find a cure for Alzheimer's, so no other person or family will go through what my family has. More than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 14 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease. Please join me in supporting the Alzheimer's Association and The Walk To End Alzheimer's.
