I'm excited to be joining in the fight against Alzheimer's by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's®. Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.

Most of us personally know someone directly affected by Alzheimer's or another dementia.  This is an ugly and horrible disease; together we can help fight to find a cure. My Aunt Evelyn, my mom’s baby sister AND a nun (SSND), was such a presence in mine and my siblings life. She was a true gift to our family after my mom suffered a severe stroke. Unfortunately, she lost her battle to this horrible disease in 2004. Help me honor her memory by supporting my walk!
