I participate in this walk in memory of my Dad and other family members and friends who suffered with and lost their lives to Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia. Losing someone to any form of dementia is "Death in Slow Motion". There are not many people who are not touched by Alzheimer's one way or another - either having a family member, a friend, or knowing someone who has a family member with this disease. I'm leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk in Duluth, MN this September.
