Alzheimer’s (AD) isn’t stopping, and neither are we. My dissertation and future life-long career will be in AD research as a nurse. By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s, I’m raising funds and awareness to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research. AD has impacted my grandfather and now my aunt. Those with AD and other forms of dementia have always been my favorite people to work with in nursing. They need YOU!
