African Americans are twice as likley to develop Alzheimer's and women represent 2/3 of the people living with the disease. My circle of family, friends, colleagues and community partners have been deeply affected by Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia.
- I'm a caregiver for my mom.
- I'm a community educator the Alzheimer's Association - trained to deliver over 10 classes in for churches, community organizations, and people and companies serving older adults.
- I'm the Associate Director Equity and Community engagement for the UMN SPH Center for Aging and Innovation.
Please consider making a donation or register as a participant and start your own fundraising. Families in Minnesota and across the nations need us now more than ever - and with your help, we can be there for them. Together we can support familes affected and end this disease.
