Max Stariha, also known as "Gram," lived with Alzheimer's for at least 14 years. While she forgot her memories, she kept her spunky, flirty personality. Even so, there were many times when she was frustrated and extremely agitated that she could not remember or understand what was happening. Those times were heartbreaking.
