To my amazing family and friends,
As I sit here on a dreary Michigan day, I find myself feeling so very humbly thankful and joyful. It is with a truly grateful heart, I want to share with all of you, the success of our Walk to End Alzheimer's campaign.
My goal was to raise $3000 to help in finding the cure for Alzheimer's, caring for those who have Alzheimer's and supporting the thousands of caregivers. Well, thanks to all of you, we surpassed my goal by a lot. Are you ready for this? Together we raised over $4942.82!!!! Absolutely unbelievable! And, I am aware of a few more donations coming our way. That will likely put us over the $5000 mark! $5000!!! I am totally speechless! (And those of you who know me well, know I always have something to say.). So, Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Ken is now living at Charlotte Stephenson Manor in Adrian and is getting phenomenal care. I try to spend time with him everyday. We have been on this journey over 10 years and it hasn't been easy. But thanks to all of you for your love, your support, your concern, your prayers, we are doing well by taking one day at a time.
