It's providing life saving research for a disease with no treatment or cure, it's offering free 24/7 support for families, and education for the community. It's providing comfort to someone who lost their father, and is now losing their mother to dementia. It's realizing my own remarkable Aunt doesn't know anymore how much she meant to me, and what an amazing person she is. She has lost her ability to remember and make decisions for herself. It's realizing that nearly everyone you meet knows someone who had Alzheimer's disease, and that everyone is afraid it will happen to them. It's a opportunity to make a difference, to share the latest in research, and to feel a sense of accomplishment with coworkers who truly care. Join me in helping to END ALZHEIMER'S. The time is now!!
