Alzheimer’s isn’t stopping and neither are we. By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s®, I’m raising funds and awareness to advance the fight against this disease —
I lost my hero, my Dad in 2016, he was a wonderful man, a retired police officer, a sailor, photographer, woodworker. He was happy to the end and he is my forever Cardinal now. I love and miss him so much!
I lost my Mom 01/11/23, she fought for 7 years and stayed strong and stubborn. She raised 6 kids and it broke my heart that we couldn’t do more for her.
My sister passed away on 05/11/2023, she had front temporal dementia, her speech and communication went away and her loss hit me hard. She was like my second mom, was always there for me and so I was there for her and I am so grateful for our visits and our bond. I love and miss her so much!
By walking I am hoping I can make a difference for others, raising funds and awareness so that others can have medicine and testing.
As long as I breathe, they will be remembered.
