David's Dream Team, in support of my husband, David Kontry, was started 14 years ago by our daughter, Jennifer.

He was 'officially' diagnosed with early-onset AD at 54 years old, 19 years ago, in 2004. Once diagnosed, we realized that there were signs that we could recall as early as 1998.  More recently, I discovered that he was having difficulty balancing his checkbook in 1995. 

There was not a cure in time for David but we fundraise so that others will not have to experience the devastation of this disease and if they do, they are able to get help and guidance from the Alzheimer's Association. (We lost him on October 11, 2019. He is now at peace.)

David's Dream Team will be participating in the 2022 Walk on Saturday, October 28 at the Detroit Zoo!

We are getting closer to a cure.
