My mom is 76 years young. She was diagnosed with Alzheimer's several years ago. This is not how she nor my family expected our lives to be. My mom always put family first. She enjoyed reading, cooking, crocheting, camping and visiting with family and friends. Now she is unable to do many of these activities and needs help with most tasks.
There is NO CURE! That's why I'm leading the way to Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's(R). Currently, more than 5 million Americans have Alzheimer's and that number is expected to grow to as many as 16 million by 2050. Our future is at risk unless we can find a way to change the course of this disease.
Please join our family in the Walk to End Alzheimer's(R) on Saturday, October 8, 2022. The walk will be located at the Flint downtown flat lot. Opening ceremony is at 11:30am, with day of registration beginning at 10:00am. The walk starts at 11:45am.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please consider joining our team to walk and/or making a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
Thank you for joining the fight against Alzheimer's!
