This is the eighth year I've been in the Walk to End Alzheimer's - memories DO matter, and Alzheimer's Disease has wreaked havoc on all of our team's lives! As always, I'm walking in memory of my grandfather, Charlie Reyner, who was diagnosed with "hardening of the arteries" back when I was in high school.

I'm also walking in memory of my father, Lynn Reyner, who struggled with Alzheimer's Disease, as well. While he lived to be 90, because of Alz, he actually lived till he was about 87.

I'm also walking for those who suffer from Alzheimer's Disease now - both those diagnosed with it, as well as their family and caregivers.
