Donna, my loving wife of 29 years, was diagnosed with early-onset ALZ in 2017 at the age of 57. When it began, we had no idea the devastation this disease would have in our lives. Her strength to fight every day is unparalleled. To speak with her you would never know she has this disease. She is gregarious, welcoming and full of love. Every day is a challenge. A challenge we have been willing to face with courage and determination. This walk is a way for us to fight back. To bring hope, if not for us (we pray every day for a miracle) -- maybe for the future.
I am raising funds via this walk and need your help -- asking for hard-earned money is a difficult ask, but it is a worthy cause that has devastated so many families. The more I share our story the more I realize that this touches just about everyone. There are a couple ways to help; donating to my page (individually, company donation, etc.) or joining our walk/team (raising funds for the cause).
