As in years past, I’m participating in the annual Walk to End Alzheimer’s, and I’m asking for your support. As most of you know, Dad's struggle with dementia began a little more than 12 years ago, and it was a heartbreaking journey as we witnessed the deterioration of a once brilliant mind, a witty personality, and an active body. He lost that battle on Memorial Day 2020.
Currently, there is no cure, no prevention... and no survivors. It's certainly too late for Dad, but the first survivor IS out there. But that begins with you and me, and together we can end Alzheimer's. I’m asking for your donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association. Any amount is helpful as we walk for a world without Alzheimer's. Thank you for joining me in the fight against Alzheimer's and all other dementia.
