My dad was a loving and steadfast caregiver to my mom. It was not easy. Though he was glad she no longer suffered, he missed her so much when she was gone. Dad passed away January 26, 2023. This year, I walk in memory of him as well.
I love this relaxed photo of them enjoying each other's company while on vacation and also because of the lighthouse in the background. My parents were always there for me, as a beacon of light and also as shelter from any storms.
Cora: We remember for a beloved wife, mom, mother-in-law, Grandma/Mama, sister, aunt, cousin, friend.
Glenn: We remember for a beloved husband, dad, father-in-law, Grandpa/Papa, brother, uncle, cousin, friend.
