For the fourth year in a row, I will be chairing the South Shore Walk to End Alzheimer's. This year's walk is on October 14th in Plymouth. Once again, Team Green Street will be walking in memory of our Mother, Barbara 'Maggie' McManama and her younger brother, Dr. Peter Magner. Both left us much too soon from this horrible disease.
Some progress has been made on treating the symptoms of Alzheimer's but there is still a long way to go to find a cure. There are now 6 million people living with Alzheimer's and dementia in the US. There are two to three times that many caring for them. We can make a difference.
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
