I am walking in the memory of Gertrude Labonte, my grandmother. Gertrude suffered from Dementia until her death on September 11, 2013. Gert was a kind and caring women who always loved to open her home to family, friends, and friends of friends. She was know to everyone as Memere. We walk in her memory to find a cure to end this devistating disease. I will also remember the memories of my aunt Alice , aunt Lorraine , and family member Jim Dant, and many more of our friends and family that have been touch by this disease.
We add a few more to our family loss list with Gert's brother, who we lost September 2020 and another great Aunt, Bessy Labonte who passed just recently.
