This is my 11th year participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer's. David, Naomi, Adam and I are so grateful for all the family and friends who support us each year.

This disease hits home for me as I know it does for so many of you. My father was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2014 and my Nana (my father's mother) battled the disease for years when I was young. After my mom passed away in 2019, I have spent the last four years caring for my father and savoring my time with him. I have experienced each phase of the disease and learned first-hand the toll it takes on everyone involved. I'm grateful to the Alzheimer's Association for providing support.

Alzheimer's disease is the sixth leading cause of death in the U.S. and the only top 10 cause of death that cannot be prevented, cured or even slowed. More than 6 million Americans are living with Alzheimer's disease and over 11 million are providing unpaid care.

Thanks to the generous support of so many loved ones, I raised nearly $7,000 in 2022. Please help me reach my goal again by making a tax-deductible donation. All donations benefit the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association -- and every dollar makes a difference in this fight.
