I am participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s. By raising funds and awareness to advance the fight against this disease — funds that help provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research — I am trying to spare my loved ones and others from the pain of this horrible disease.
My Pop-Pop passed away from Alzheimer’s when I was in college. Watching him slowly fade away for years was incredibly difficult. Since then, I've comforted many friends as their loved ones have also received Alzheimer's diagnoses.
