My first job was on an Alzheimer’s unit as an activity assistant. I met some amazing people and got super close to them and their families, ever since that Alzheimer’s has always been a huge part of my life. We’ve done the #walktoendalzheimers several times and have been very successful! This years walk is a little different. 1 year ago I lost my Papa to Alzheimers. It’s so hard seeing someone you love go through such a difficult thing. Even though it was so hard seeing him like that, he kept his goofyness until the end, and I’m thankful for all the amazing memories we had together. I’m even more inspired to raise money for something that means so much to me, my family & friends. The walk is at Gillette in the fall, anything you can donate would mean SO much to us!!! #TeamHayes #ENDALZ #EndAlzheimers ☘
