One day you are at the grocery store getting ready to pay for your groceries and all of a sudden you can’t remember your PIN number. You panic, you cry, you keep pushing numbers…and well…it never comes to you and you are stuck with a line of people behind you and no way to pay for your food.
This is one of the many things that happened to our mom at the early onset of her Alzheimer’s Disease. We never knew when or how or what triggered her brain to stop working. We lost our mom 3 years ago at the young age of 66. Alzheimer’s stopped her, but we won’t stop this fight! When our mom passed away we, as a family, chose Brain donation so she will continue to help fight for this disease even after her death.
