My mom Kathleen Keeney passed away on September 9th 2007. My mom was strong, smart, beautiful, and had a special gift of listening. Her loving heart is what inspires me to fight this disease valiantly as I saw she did during her affliction. Watching my mother slip away while still living and then again when she died was extremely painful. It is important to our family to help future generations avoid the pain of losing their loved ones twice in life.
