Thank you for taking the time to read my story. For the past 8 years I have been raising money to find a cure for Alzheimer's disease by participating in the Alzheimer's Walk to End Alzheimer's.

This year, as always, I am walking in honor of my Pop, Paul Feinroth.

He was the most excellent dad ever. Everyone loved my Pop.

Pop fought in WWII and was awarded a Purple Heart. He survived the war injury but not this dreaded disease. WE MUST FIND A CURE!

To watch Alzheimer's disease slowly take my beloved father from me was devastating. He was gone from me and my family before Alzheimer's ended his life here on Earth. WE MUST FIND A CURE!

I am also walking for my Pops oldest brother, Lenard Feinroth, who passed, before my Pop, from Alzheimer's. And now... my dear first cousin Arlen, who is a couple of years younger than me, is battling Alzheimers right now. He already has reached the stage where he no longer can recognize his son, Justin. My heart breaks as I remember all of us growing up together in New York. WE MUST FIND A CURE!
