My Grandpa, Daniel Moynihan died in 2004 of Alzheimer's. He was an extremely intelligent person, speaking 14 languages, and spent a lot of his life studying languages and linguistics. He met my Grandma, Rosemary while they were both working as translators for a bank in New York City. After they got married, my grandpa worked for the majority of his career as a translator for The United Nations. My grandma and grandpa went on to raise 8 children. The last few years of my grandpa's life were spent battling Alzheimer's disease and at 89 years old, he passed away. My grandma Rosemary, lived until 98, developing dementia the last few years of her life.
I'm raising money to help find a cure for Alzheimer's Disease.
Please consider a donation to my page that will go towards funding critical research along with programs and services for those suffering today from Alzheimer's and dementia and their caregivers.
Thank you for your support!
Alzheimer’s isn’t stopping and neither are we. By participating in the Alzheimer’s Association Walk to End Alzheimer’s, I’m raising funds and awareness to advance the fight against this disease — funds that allow the Alzheimer’s Association to provide 24/7 care and support while accelerating critical research.
Families facing Alzheimer’s and all other dementia need us now more than ever — and with your help, we can be there for them. Please make a donation or register as a participant and start your own fundraising. Together, we can end Alzheimer’s disease.
Thank you!
