I began my association with the Alzheimer's Association a year ago after my dad, Chuck, was diagnosed with advanced dementia. Chairing the KC walk was a rewarding experience and an amazing event for Kansas City. Sadly, Chuck passed away on January 27, 2023. I miss him so much, but my commitment to the Alzheimer's Association has not waned. My Father's Day gift to him is to restart the "Cheer for Chuck" team/campaign. 

We ere getting closer to finding a cure, but we're not there yet. Please join my team and walk on October 7 (at the WWI Museum and Memorial). Out of hundreds of walks for the cause, last year's Kansas City event was one of the best and biggest in the country. 

We all have a Chuck in our lives -- let's do this for them!
