Imagine for a moment being told you have a disease. A disease that cannot be cured. A disease that no one, NO ONE, has ever survived. A disease that will end your life far before it takes your life. Devastating, right?

Devastation is the feeling my family, and millions of other families feel daily because of Alzheimer's and other Dementia diseases.  I grieve for the loss of my Mom everyday only to know I will grieve all over when this disease is finally finished destroying her.  This is just how I grieved watching my dad slip away until Dementia finally took his body.

Please, Alzheimers and other Dementia diseases are killing millions of Americans every year. The only hope is to find treatment or better yet, a cure.  I participate in this Walk every year in the hopes that we will soon have survivors.
