As most of you know, my mom, Pat Fischer, was freed from her years-long battle with Alzheimer's last September. Not only did I get to see first-hand how this disease impacted my own family, but I learned how there are so many other families in our community and around the world who have their own stories about this unforgiving disease. Mom will live on with me as I continue to fight for the day where we find a cure to this terrible disease. Join my team and come alongside the Alzheimer's Association to fundraise, increase awareness, and advocate for those living with Alzheimer's and other dementia-related diagnosis along with the caregivers who sacrifice so much to ensure their loved ones receive the support they need.
For the sixth year in a row, we're going to go on a Walk to End Alzheimer's in Columbus. We will be back at the Bartholomew County Fairgrounds this year and would love to see as many family and friends as possible join us in remembrance of Mom and all those who have lost loved ones in these same tormenting ways.
Together, we can lead the way to finding Alzheimer's first survivor by participating in the Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's(R).
Together, we can end Alzheimer's disease. Please make a donation to advance the care, support and research efforts of the Alzheimer's Association.
Thank you for your time and for joining our team, "Walk Like Grandma Apatosaurus," in the fight to make Alzheimer's Disease and dementia extinct!!
