I was diagnosed with Alzheimer's at age 56. Most still have a hard time believing I have this hideous disease. However, I can tell and I'd known for some time that I had it. My wonderful successful family oriented giving Daddy was taken by this disease and my beautiful brilliant kind sweet Mommy has been fighting the disease for about 6 years.

I believe this horrible disease is in my Daddy's family genetics. Sadly that means I've given this propensity to Alzheimer's to my children and grandchildren. As you can imagine this is a cause so dear to my heart! So….
