In addition to walking for mama, I am walking for my grandfather, Roosevelt Sumbry Sr. & my great grandmother, Ruth Jenkins. This horrific disease has claimed way too many lives and intruded upon too many families!! Mama had the biggest most infectious smile, she loved God, loved her family, and celebrating Christmas. Dementia took pieces of her away from us bit by bit and she passed away on May 11, 2019. Mama may be gone, but I refuse to stop telling her story of love, light, and perseverance!!
